About
On my 23rd birthday I wrote:
When I’m 65, I want to take a moment to sit on a rocker on my front porch, look back at my life and say “I’ve done a lot.” And then I want to jump up and do more.”
In the 30+ years since then I’ve
- been a clerk, a secretary, and an administrative assistant,
- sold office filing systems and Volkswagens (and used cars too),
- created a legal library for a water engineering firm,
- counseled delinquent girls in residential treatment,
- created volunteer programs and wrote funding grants,
- planned events for 2,000+ people with celebrity guests,
- was in management with a Fortune 500 company,
- started 4 businesses (2 of which are still operating).
No matter what I was doing, I was
always counseling, mentoring, or coaching in some way. I’ve done that since I was 9 years old. I’ve seen this again and again with clients: we knew our purpose and our gift early on, but we may have gotten side-tracked or down-played it. Or discounted it because it was just so easy. Over the years, I’ve counseled, mentored, and coached thousands of people. I received my B.S. in Human Services from Metropolitan State College, Denver. I’m also a trained hypnotherapist (Nat’l Guild of Hypnotists), and a certified Past Life Therapist and Researcher (International Board of Regression Therapy). Spirit has always been part of my life. I wasn’t always real conscious of it, but Spirit just doesn’t go away (and what a relief THAT is!!) I’ve had graced moments of Oneness and many moments of feeling intensely separate . . . like all of us, spirits in human suits.
